Terms of service

How booking a B1 visit works: the quote, the price lock, the card hold, extra work only with your approval, and what each side promises.

Version B1-TERMS-2026-10-d1Written 2026-10-02

Draft, not yet in force. This text describes how B1 works today and is waiting for review by B1's counsel; the parts in [brackets] are still to be decided. The approved version will replace it, with a new version label, and you will be asked to accept it.

Who we are

B1 Mobile Mechanic ("B1", "we") is a mobile auto repair service in metro Atlanta, Georgia, operated by [legal entity name and address — owner]. These terms apply when you use b1mechanic.com, create an account, or book a visit.

The service

A B1 technician comes to the address you give and performs the services in your booking. You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorized to have it repaired, that it can be reached and worked on safely at that address, and that the details you give us — vehicle, address, contact — are accurate.

A technician may decline or stop work that is unsafe, that the location does not allow, or that differs from the booking. If that happens before work starts, nothing is charged for the visit.

Quotes and the price lock

Every quote is itemized — parts, labor, the mobile service fee and tax — for the vehicle and services you chose. When you book, the quoted price is locked for that scope.

Some labor estimates are marked as estimates with a range; they are confirmed before work starts. If the work needed is different, the technician proposes a change with its price, and nothing extra is done or charged unless you approve it.

Booking and arrival

You choose an arrival window; it is a window, not an exact time. B1 assigns a technician whose skills and location fit the job and tells you when they are on the way. A booking is confirmed when the confirmation page and email say so.

Payment

When you book, a hold for the booked total is placed on your card through our payment processor, Stripe. The card is charged only after the work is complete, for the locked total plus any change you approved. B1 never sees or stores your full card number.

If you dispute a charge, please contact us first; we will look at the visit record with you.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Covered by the cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.

Warranty

Work B1 performs is covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, as the warranty terms describe; they are part of these terms.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else used your account. You can download what we hold about you, change your consent choices, and close the account from account settings.

We may suspend an account used for fraud, abuse of technicians or staff, or in breach of these terms.

Responsibility

[Counsel: limitation of liability, exclusions, and the treatment of pre-existing conditions and of personal property left in the vehicle — under Georgia law.]

Disputes and governing law

[Counsel: governing law (Georgia), venue, and any informal-resolution step before a claim.]

Changes to these terms

Every version of these terms has a version label. If we change them in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before your next booking; the version you accepted and when are kept with your account.

Contact

[Support email and phone — owner.] You can also write to us from any appointment in My B1.
